long term parking in Brooklyn

Hi all,

We'll be on a cruise trip departing from Manhattan's port, but we'll be staying at a friend's in Brooklyn, I was wondering if there's long term parking in the area that I can leave my car for about 2 weeks. I've seen some private parking space rentals on craiglist, are they reliable though? Any input is much appreciated!

BTW, what's the approximate taxi fare to the cruise terminal, on 12th Ave. and 52nd St. from say Brooklyn bridge? Thanks!

Do a search on Google maps for the words "parking garage" in the zip code of the area that you want to park in. Then call them and ask their rates/availability, etc.
