moving from london to park slope with a toddler... advice???

Hi

I've just come across this message board after googling and it seems like Park Slope is a good place to move to with a 2.5 year old?

We are moving from London (England) and will have to start anew with music/toddler/soft play and all those other kinds of things and I'd be really grateful for some friendly advice about where we should be thinking of living and what are good groups to join.

Park Slope is a fine place to live, particularly with children - there are so many kids about that there are plenty of activities, etc. geared towards them. We didn't join parenting groups or anything of that nature, but there is a Park Slope Parents group/forum that you might find helpful and...enlightening, from what I have heard. I'll try to be more helpful later, but I'm on my way out the door.

park slope is probably a fantastic place to move if you have kids. good luck!
