Murder on Monroe and Nostrand

Anyone know any details about this? Sounds like either a hit or a gang initiation.

A 46-year-old man was fatally shot as he reached into the back seat of his car last night, the police said. The man, whose name was not released, had gotten out of his car around 8 p.m. on Monroe Street near Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant and opened his back door when a man approached on foot, shot him in the back of the head, and fled, said Det. Theresa Farello, a police spokeswoman. The victim was declared dead at the scene, Detective Farello said, adding that there were no suspects.

That is horrible and really disturbing. I thought this stuff was on the decline.
