Greetings--

Does anyone have experience--positive or negative--with any dog walking/overnight cat & dog sitting businesses that serve Park Slope?

Thanks so much, Femme

    on the overnighters
we've been happy with the Brooklyn Dog House
    that's a check-in place, not a walking service

I board my dogs with Tailwagger, and they love it -- at least, they go wild with excitement when the Tailwagger van comes to pick them up.

I didn't like Brooklyn Dog House. Might use them again if I was going away overnight, but no longer than that.

o dear, is there something I need to know about B'klyn Dog House?
I've only needed them overnight, and I liked the owner . . .

Is Tailwagger the place in Red Hook? The nice people that leave dog water out on Garfield like them, but it's so far away . . .
I know they pickup and deliver, but I like to be able to walk to get my dog.

I like Brooklyn dog house, Kinka stayed there several times. The people at TailWaggers annoyed me when I spoke to them on the ophone and they have an 80 page quetionaire before they'll board your dog. I'm sure they're just being thorough, but still...

I'm not even sure where Tailwagger is in Brooklyn. At least for weekends and extended stays, they take the dogs to their upstate farm.

I don't think there is anything horrible about Brooklyn Dog House, but it's basically just a kennel. The one time I dropped off the dogs (my husband had always done it previously), it was really upsetting to me because my dogs clearly did not want to be there and definitely did not want me to leave them there. All the other dogs start crying and howling when someone comes in. It just didn't seem like a happy place. With Tailwagger, I don't feel guilty about going on vacation and leaving the dogs. They are so excited when Laszlo shows up to get them.

The Dog's Den Doggie Day care on 5th ave b/w 12th and 13th - very nice, very clean, way more convenient than the Dog House. No walks, though
