Hi. I applied for a p.o. box about 9 months ago and they never contacted me so I guess it got lost. I forget now what the costs are. does anyone know? i found out at UPS it's $40 a month which seemed high but depending on what the u.s.p.s. costs (had one awhile ago but I was near 'better' post office stops then), it might be worth it?

Thanks!

cat.

$65/yr at the post office where I have a box. Not in Brooklyn.
Standard small p.o. box, nothing special.

This is in NYC? It's hard to imagine the cost would be $5 or so a month. It must be more than this...

The 40$ are for 6 months, not one month. Unless you need a post box the size of an apartment I guess.

no, it's $40 a month at UPS (United Parcel Service, brown trucks).

and yes I now recall that the USPS (United STATES Postal Service) IS (as other poster said) around $65 a year and half that for 1/2 as long. It seemed so low compared to UPS but that makes sense.

thanks for this link tho'. I will check it out.
