How do you delete a post ...

You can edit it into nonexistance or ask a mod to delete it outright I believe.

As long as you're logged in (not a guest), you can edit your posts by clicking the "edit" button (next to "quote"). One of the edit options is "delete this post" (at the bottom just above "preview" and "submit").

I must be stupid :? but editing out of existence didn't work and I didn't see any delete button ...

It's not a button. It's a box to check before you hit submit.

Just let me know what post and as long as it's yours, I suppose I'd have no problem deleting it for you. Just PM me.
