plus sizes in PH

the only clothing store that I've found in PH that carried plus size clothing is hootie couture. vintage LB dresses are 70s hotness, though EXTREMELY rare hotness. are there others? unfortunately, the four other clothing stores I can think of (red lipstick, rasberi, harriet's and pieces) which have fantastic clothing, don't carry anything near a plus size. (this isn't an attack on those stores - I love them each) am I the only girl a size 14 or bigger who wants a cute dress and wants to support local biz while getting it?

I know that anthropologie carries some brands that come in XL that fit me well - I hate to buy those brands from them. I wish I could purchase them from a local biz. can anyone order individual items like book stores can?

It's not in Prospect Heights, but you could try Addy & Ferro on Fulton and S.Elliot; she carries lots of great things and always seems to have a good size selection. Really cute sweaters and dresses (Ella Moss, Plenty, Corey Lynn Calter), I've gotten a few skirts there, too.

There is also the place in the Target Mall - I think its called the Avenue - otherwise I never find anything in my size at the local shops. I wind up buying their jewelry or bags.

Yes, I agree with you all of these local boutiques are focused on selling clothes to skinny girls. That's why I never patronize them.

I hear you. I buy most of my clothing either online or in manhattan.
