I don't remember to post all of them but FYI the 77 is up to about 57 shootings this year (not including random gunfire) and 23 homocides.

Last nights shooting occured near 1306 St. John's. The victim says that he heard three shots and then realized he was shot. Word on the street is that he had some type of argument with the gunman before the shooting occured. This happened out on the street and eventhough everybody heard 3 shots he was only hit twice. One bullet went astray and could have ended up anywhere. Be careful, folks.

Whats the point of your posts? They appear to have an underlying theme of negativity. I'm sure Crown Heights residents are well aware of the crime in the area, your posts only seem to highlight when something bad happens in the community. How bout posting a positive police story, The newspapers are already filled with anti-cop sentiment, maybe share a good story involving members of the hard working 77 pct.

of course it's good to know. but what about a merry christmas/happy chanukah/whatever else you celebrate and a little peace and goodwill? some happy thoughts? i had to laugh to myself tonight, actually, seeing the mean faced hardened drug dealers out around Franklin Avenue tonight and thinking--you know what--they're probably all pissed off today, just like me, because they feel underloved and appreciated and whatever the hell else...I could have been projecting, but there seemed to be an especially grim cheerless despair on the faces of our local resident Nextel Patrol. You know, the holidays are hard on everybody...
