Tom's: open this weekend?

Subject: Tom's: open this weekend?

I can never remember when Tom's is closed during the winter! I'm hoping to go there for breakfast tomorrow morning (Saturday, December 30). Does anyone know if they're open or not? I don't mind walking down in the morning to check it out if need be, but would rather save the time if someone knows for sure. So... does anyone know if Gus will be available this weekend for coffee, pancakes, turkey bacon and hugs?

They're closed every Sunday.

Oh, I'm well aware of this. When i wrote "weekend" I meant "Saturday".

Open every day except major holidays and Sundays.

Except I recall Tom's being closed for vacation for a week or so this past spring. There's precedent.

There's always the Park Cafe. Or The Usual. I'm sure if you ask they'll give you a hug or two along with the flap jacks and turkey bacon.

I think they take two week long vacays. one during the Easter weekend and one in August. or something like that.

Yup! I recall those, now.

The answer: yup, they were open. Tom's is also open New Year's Day, for anyone who's curious.
