Downed Trees on 7th Ave

Anyone know what's going on with the trees on 7th Ave between 23rd and 20th Street? It seems to be a doomed stretch for trees. A couple of big ones were taken down this year after losing branches and I noticed that a couple of smaller were ones were recently uprooted.

Yep, we just noticed these as well. they have been "dead" all summer BUT not ripped up. I guess we should see if we can get someone on that block to call Parks and report it...or we all can just call 311...not that that will do anything but assuage some sort of psychological angle
