Just curious folks, as a homeowner and investor in Bushwick I just wanted to get some unbias opinions on bushwick.. Will Bushwick ever remove its negative stereotype and be seen as a good investment?

of course it will. consider how far its come already. then again, i'm also a homeowner here so i am biased. but i guess it depends on what you're after. nothing's gonna appareciate the way it has in the past few years, but i can't see things going anywhere but steadily up for a long time.

Hm, fellow Bushwick investor here - lots of investors already know it to be a good investment in terms of appreciation and rent roll / cash flow. It may not be as green and leafy as other nabes, but definitely has a good mixture of people moving in to diversify the area plenty of restaurants, bakeries/cafes and organic / health food stores opening up. Not to mention the quick commute for those who need to get to work in Manhattan.

Agreed that Bushwick is steadily improving.....a new gourmet/health food market just opened up on Bushwick ave. @ Montrose. open 24 hours...great selection.......having been here for 3 years now it's really amazing how much better it has gotten....it will never be Park Slope or BK Heights, but it has it's own character for sure.
