Sunset Park Dog Run

I'm new to Sunset Park and was just wondering if there was any news on the proposed dog run in Sunset Park. There's a website I found (www.sunsetbarkpark.org) but I don't know if it's still active. I'd love a place to take my dogs to run off-leash.

It looks like the Yahoo group that was set up as part of the site you mention is active: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spdoglist/

This might be the best way to find out the status of any dog run or off-leash areas of sunset park. I know there are some non-official areas where people let their dogs off-leash but I don't think it's legal.

Keep us posted on anything you hear about bringing a legal dog run to the park.
