Cost of cab/car from Astoria to PH/CH?

So my friends and I have weekly Grey's-watching nights on Thursdays, but they're always in Astoria. Does anyone know about how much I can expect to pay to get home? I'm at Park/Classon.

Williamsburg is around $15, and LGA is around $25, so I'd expect $20.

Also, on cars vs. cabs -- for car services, make sure you agree on a price up front. For yellow cabs, expect to pay maybe $5 more.

Also -- and I hope I am not taking too much of a leap when I assume you are female -- confirm a price when you call the car service AND when you get in the car. My girlfriend, when travelling alone, is constantly "up-quoted" by drivers who are trying to line their pockets. (Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to make note of it.)

Yep, I'm a girl--unfortunately I've had that happen before. When I was new to NYC, a driver charged me $15 to go from Astoria to LIC; I was new, what can I say?
