So, whatever happened to Franz, the guy that used to hang out on the corner of Park and Vanderbilt...usually sitting on the Muddy Waters bench? He always had the best stories to tell about what PH used to be like back in the day....

    Seriously, I would like to know the story about this guy, if unterberg can share a few more details.

    well, i used to think he was sketchy until I finally striked up a conversation with him. He noted that he's been in the neighborhood for at least 20+ years and we'd always comment on the changes goin' on in the neighborhood. He's one of the sweetest guys even though his appearances sway people away from him. He knows what's goin' on, and I always felt like he was watchin' my back whenever I'd happen to be walking home late.

    I miss seein' him on my way home....
