5th ave bageltique

perhaps this is old news but when did it get redone and (it seems) switch owners? I miss the old place and the bagel and sushi combo I'm not so sure about.... any insight?

Yeah something is very odd about the new "improved" Bageltique. I don't get the bagel and sushi thing at all. And the renovation seemed to somehow make the space worse than it was before. Did it get sold to new owners?

Yeah, I believe it was sold to new owners. The food has been very inconsistent since. The owners run the counter during the day and hardly know what's on the menu. You have to point it out on the paper and confirm all the toppings or they get it wrong. The night shift is really good though, and might be the same cooks as before the renovation. The same bagel sandwich I order in the morning is much tastier and well prepared if I order it at night.

Oh, Well.

I recognized 2 of the guys from the prior crew (thank god). But the bagels are definitely NOT the same.... sad.....

Aha! THIS is where people should hang out instead of the Tea Lounge. TONS of space!! (Just B.Y.O.B.) brew
