Robbery on Flatbush

Wing Fat Cleaners was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday evening around 7:15ish. My partner went in to pick up some clothes around 7:45 and the police were just leaving. She was told that a guy walked in and approached the counter like a customer, but then pulled a gun and demanded money. We didn't get any further details and they were still in shock at the time.

Does anyone know anything more about this? 7:00-7:15 seems like prime laundry pickup time, so it was hard to imagine someplace with big windows and lots of lights was robbed at such an early hour.

That's brazen. Robbing a dry cleaners in general is pretty crazy. Like you said, a good deal of people would be picking stuff up at that time.

Happy Cleaners on Vanderbilt was robbed not long ago. Wonder if this is related...

Maybe not so crazy if you really desperately needed a freshly cleaned suit in a hurry for some reason and didn't have the money to buy a new one...
