Massage?

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a massage or a good masseuse to visit in the area?

I know there are a few places in the area, but I'd prefer to go somewhere recommended.

I'm lookoing for a legitimate massage. Nothing else. No funny business.

I've considered Area and Body by Brooklyn, but haven't made good on that yet. I, too, would love to hear any personal recommendations. Because I really, really need a massage!

My girlfriend got a massage at body by brooklyn and loved it. i got her a gift certificate for her birthday. she also enjoyed a few glasses of wine at the bar.

she said their facilities are gorgeous. i've never been beyond the lobby.

If you don't mind going to PS, D'Mai Spa is good. It's relatively high end. Ask for Mikah - he's good very sports oriented massage.

one is cornerstone healing they also do acupuncture & i think they take some insurance. i go for deep tissue massage to lauren sweeney at her office. the other really awsome massage i have had is from camellia at area spa, ... hope this is helpful

i just came back from a waxing and pedicure at nu yu day spa on clinton and grand. the staff, the space, the services and the quality were all fantastic. i will definitely return to try out a massage.
