maybe not :p. i'm a working class guy and the place was out of my element. i felt so out of place. like its too delicate for me.

anyone else had that feeling while eating there?

also lost my hat in there :p.

    That place is expensive, but very casual and down to earth. I'm surprised you felt that way. It's not like some jacket and tie required place like Le Bernardin or anything.

    i just didn't like the servers :p seems too nice. they seem to suggest stuff and over friendly. place seem to nice for me:p, my friend felt the same way.

    The other day I dined at Applewood and they seated a coarse working-class fellow and his friend. His plebian mannerisms ruined the enjoyment of my repast. And then he left his filthy hat behind! This establishment needs stronger standards as to whom they permit to enter. Hmph!

    i know that bastard. i was there too with my female friend. i should of thrash him a good him and his friend. maybe thats why it ruin the mood of the place for me :p.

    i saw only organic meats :p no vegetarian stuff from what i saw. isnt their menu like rotating one?

    i love applewood. someone told me it was really fancy and for special occassions but i didn't think so. it's a casually comfortable good time with good service (which these days, sadly, is so rare)

    For less "delicate" there's always the Donut café. You can order pancakes and fried cheese and no one blinks an eye.

    I like the Donut Cafe. Their homemade baked Virginia ham (on the bone) and whole roasted turkey puts a lot of upscale eateries to shame.
