Does anyone know if there are banks in the area that will take a jar of change and sort it for a non-customer?

You can get that done at Commerce Bank in Park Slope—it's on Fifth Ave at, I think, First Street. Don't know of any bank right in PH that provides that service.

The key food charges about 10%, Commerce is free. Plus they have cookies for your dog and a cool mural.

I can't describe the thrill I get pouring a jar of coins into a Coinstar. It's like a slot machine that always pays. One of life's true pleasures.

Gotta love Peter Pan. Something about the brand just says "safe, healthy, and totally devoid of all foodborne bacteria".
