cablevision customers

Any one having cable trouble lately???? I have three boxes, I returned 2 Monday and got new boxes and now today I am having the same trouble with the 3 box. the trouble is not on every channel just some. the picture is freezing and the picture is not clear.


if somebody is having the same probelms what are you doing to fix it?????

I don't know if this helps, but I had the same trouble about 3 yrs ago when I in.
Cablevision made 3 attempts to fix it before actually getting it right. They said squirrels were eating at the cable in the junction box. They chased away the critters and repaired the line, but the reception still sucked.
They finally fixed it by running an extra line to the house to increase the signal stregnth..... that seemed to work (and it only took them 6 weeks to get it right!).
I haven't had any issues since, but the whole experience explained why my nade is so full of Direct TV dishes.

Thanks, I had an appt yesterday that I missed 2-5 (came from church late and missed cablevision service guy) but now... picture seems clear again..... stay tuned
