Book Swap Revisited

Hi All,

I had tried to plan a book swap on Valentine's Day and it didn't work out.

Since Many people have since expressed an interest in this idea, I'm going to list this as an official event once more.

So here's the plan: Book Swap on Thursday March 15th at 7:30PM.

We will meet at either Sheep Station or Flatbush Farm ... please indicate your preference.

Votes will be tallied on March 12th so that the meeting place can be posted to the group in advance of the event.

If anyone is interested, the NYC Bookcrossing Meetup meets once a month at the Stone Creek cafe on 27th St in Manhattan. It is about sharing books, swapping books, etc and for meeting up with those familiar with bookcrossing (participation is not mandatory - the bookcrossing website is www.bookcrossing.com).

Guitair Girl -- I could add the poll for you as Stace asked, but it's probably good to know how to do it yourself, if you don't already. Click edit on thetop post that started thread and towards the bottom you will see the add a poll tool. Sounds like a good plan...

I was actually going to bring 2 or 3. You know our mantra the more the merrier

No rules regarding how many or what type of books to bring.

Bringing a couple is probably a good idea so that there'll be more variety and choice.

Just a reminder... don't forget to vote on which location you prefer...

I can't believe this, but I actually can't come to my own book swap.

I have a workshop that night that I thought was during the day.

Any chance people could come on the following Thursday night?

Should we vote on another night? Should I just forget the whole thing?

well i just found out . make it the week after that .

The following week is Dine-In Brooklyn, aka Restaurant Week
I don't know if this effects either establishment, but you might want to check.
