I live on 3rd Street. There was a medium sized pure black Cat wondering though our Backyard about 6:00 am howling. It doesnt look like a stray. I fed it and I think its still roaming. e-mail me @ [email hidden] and Ill contact you if I hear it again if it sounds like yours

    There are lots of posters on the South end of the Slope about a missing black cat. They may be one and the same?

    I've seen the fliers - the cat's name is "Maria" and I've seen the fliers near the 25th St. stop.

    If it's howling, it's probably not fixed. If it's not fixed, its owner--if it has one--is neglectful or it's been abandoned. It's a cold night. You (or one of your neighbors) might want to think about taking the cat in until some permanent shelter for it can be found. Otherwise, it's just out there making even more strays...

    Yes, if you see it again, please take it in. Not only is it freezing out there, but once the cat has shelter in a home, you can post a picture here. If the owner doesn't come out, we can at least find it a permanent home somewhere.

    I saw one of the fliers on my corner - 13th street. If anyone sees her again I can grab the phone number.

    I copied down the number. The missing black cat on the flier's name is "Maria". The owner's name is Jason and his number is 917-478-0535.

    I saw signs today ... there's another black cat that went missing on feb. 20th from 1st street and 7th avenue. sounds like it might be that one. I will email OP also. male cat, not neutered. bald spot on right elbow and tail. on medication! phone #'s: 718-832-3151, 347-564-7454 or 914-484-3949. I left a message on the middle # to come check this board. I hope they do!
