so ... how much sudafed do you need to make crystal meth?

this whole signing a log thing is really irritating me. if sudafed is like coca leaves, you need a fuckload to make anything worth consuming to get high, and tons more to sell the product. but I could be wrong -- I keep googling and not finding answers. can anyone give me an answer?

I know a guy who I could ask, but he's not going to be easy to contact for another 8 months or so - depending on good behavior.

As a former resident of the show-me(meth) state, I occasionally watch programs on tv on the epidemic. It seems like 20 packs or so is enough to make enough meth to blow up your house.

The meth isn't actually what blows up people's homes, garages, trailers, etc. It's actually the volatile solvents used.

I'm sure at this point, after googling incessantly, the DEA is gonna bust down my door. sigh.

If the conversion rate is 100%, then 1 molecule of pseudoephedrine makes 1 molecule of methamphetamine. The difference is a single oxygen atom: C10H15NO vs C10H15N, so a 60mg tablet theoretically makes 54.2 mg methamphetamine, which is a strong dose. In practice, the conversion is less than 100%.

I'm usually all for generics, but they never seemed to have the sustained-release 12 or 24 hour preparations in generic. So I always got the brand name even before the new regulations.

I knew this girl once who preferred the old-style generics because they weren't slow release. But then again, she was crushing them up for insufflation and downing a bottle of Passion Pop as preparation for her idea of a good night out.
