A new addition to an old PS problem:
Scaffolding has gone up around the Landmark Pub building on 7th Ave!
Wonder what's next in one of PS's oddest real estate sagas>

I noticed that a few days ago. My own belief is that the scaffolding went up simply to protect pedestrians from falling debris - since the idiot owner of the building is letting it literally rot to pieces. I'd further guess that the city put up the scaffolding and is probably billing the owner for the privilege. As much as I'd like to think otherwise, I'm betting that the scaffolding will become a longterm fixture at this spot.

Here's a sitation where I'd actually welcome the city to claim eminent domain!

You know, you're probably right. I did see the letters HPD [for the city housing dept) spray painted on the 7th Avenue side.
How much u wanna bet that scaffolding survives the decade?
