Paul McCrane (Fame, Dr. Romano on ER, etc.)

Anyone know if this guy is living/filming in the neighborhood? I could have sworn I saw him jogging through Prospect Heights today. The TV.com biography below says he's 5'8", and another says 5'6", which pretty much matches up exactly with the guy I saw.

He was born in Philadelphia, lived in New York until 1992, and lived in LA as recently as 2000. He's probably best known for his roles in Fame and ER, but he was also in Robocop and an ill-fated Stephen Bochco series called Cop Rock.

wow! he was in cop rock and now he lives in our neighborhood? I've been searching for actual evidence of the existence of cop rock for a while now, because no one will believe me when I tell them about the concept (a detective drama musical), maybe I can track this guy down and get one of his copies.

Or then again, maybe he doesn't like talking about Cop Rock... would you?

The guy who played Lt. Fancy (James McDaniel) on NYPD Blue was in Cop Rock. There's got to be an old trailer or such.

Trio replayed Cop Rock a few seasons ago as part of "Brilliant and Cancelled" or whatever they call it.

He was also in "Escape from New York" as well, I believe. Bit part.

I actually know someone in the neighborhood that sorta looks like that guy, but is obviously not him. Next time, you should scream out "Hey! Paul?" and see if he responds.

Harass him for playing such a dick on ER. I bet he'll love it.

But he was such a lovable, insecure guy struggling with his homosexuality in the movie fame.

Hit him with your car an' see him esplodes like in robocop!

I'm joking, hitting people (even celebrities) with your car is wrong. You could go to jail and mess up the front (or rear) of your car. Remember kids, it's not worth it.

    Subject: cop rock

there is a woman who lives on 3rd st in park slope who was on cop rock- her name is Anne-Bobbie and she used to hang out at The Minnow all drunk and stuff.... real nice, a working actress and all.... i'm surprised you all remember that show. You can catch Anne-Bobbie at Two Boots, The Minnow, and all other bars in between. She's a great girl (lady), by the way.....
