EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED plays at BAM this weekend!

EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED is one of my favorite movies this year, and it opens at BAM this weekend. Go see it!

THE SQUID AND THE WHALE sneaks there on September 29 - I love that movie too, and it features Prospect Heights and Park Slope!

I've been looking forward to this ever since I found out Eugene Hutz from Brooklyn-based Gogol Bordello is co-starring. They'll be touring again this Fall (NYC, 11/5). I have the marathon next day (drat), but having seen them live four times, I can tell you they always come out and kill.

Meggle wants to see the movie too, 'cause Liev Schreiber is involved...

BAM showed previews for Murderball and Grizzlyman and . . . where are these movies? I hate hate hate going to the Angelica . . .

If you're lucky, there's a scandal in it - prints stolen, documentaries banned, you never know. They show the trailers, and put the poster in the lobby (grizzly) then nothing . . .
