my gf is new to the neighborhood

i have been living here for a few years and have been quite happy with the hood.
she lived in the west village for about 5 years then in williamsburg for a year -but don't hold it against her
all of her friends live in manhattan and im not so keen on leaving brooklyn on the weekends.
and shes having some trouble adjusting to the neighborhood and im trying to figure out how to make it a little smoother.

don't get me wrong, shes an easy sell. its just that socializing here (specifically) is a bit of a challenge. Until i found this list serve.

so i was wondering when you guys were all getting together again at soda.
we would love to join you

I'm actually in Boerum Hill, but I'm in PH quite a bit 'cause I have several friends over there and am thinking about moving there when my lease is up. Come to the spelling bee at Freddy's sometime (there's one this Wednesday) and be a geek with me!
