Puppy for adoption

Another great Brooklyn mutt needs a home... She is young about 10 months old and very sweet. She was found hiding in a basement. She is a bit timid still, but loves people. She also seems to be OK with cats and other dogs (seems to like boy dogs more). She is about 40lbs and a true Brooklyn dog- Sheppard, Labrador and Pit. If you would like to meet her or help me foster her please contact me at 718-622-0600. She will not be able to stay where she is much longer.

This great puppy still needs a home... She is awesome. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She also comes with free dog walking during work hours if she is adopted in Prospect Heights.

PLEASE help her find a home:)

Oh, man! What are you hours? I would love to come by, but also need to talk to my wife. By the way, I have male dog.

    Jose-

I can send you her picture and I am sure once your wife meets her she will love her. She is a cutie. She is at her foster home now, but will be at the store all weekend long. She is great with all dogs and having 2 dogs is easier than one:)

    Umm... That's kind of strange.

Almost sounds like someone has had a puppy for 10 months and decided that she couldn't take care of her.

Almost sounds like someone was not supposed to have pets and their landlord found out.

Almost sounds like someone who doesn't want to pay the fees of giving up the animal at a shelter and decides to post a plea for adoption onto a free web message board.

But hey, I could be wrong.

Why not use petfinder.com to find someone to adopt this puppy you "found"?

Guest, you could use a lesson in netiquette. As that Wikipedia wisely says, "lurk before you leap," so you can get to know the forum and the people who post there. Maligning the motives of a frequent poster, who is known personally to many of the users of the board, and is on the up-and-up, and has helped other abandoned pets in the neighborhood, and organized an expedition to take supplies to pet rescuers in NOLA, &c. &c., is not the way to win respect around here. Actually, in the past, users of this board have put a lot of effort into helping place animals and even helping take care of them until they find homes. (Example.)

Edit: Sorry, crossposted. Didn't mean to pile on.

Vivian - Do you need help walking/playing with her during the day? I am pretty available and would love to help out.

Spinningwheel- Thank you for your offer... Rita will be at the store this weekend so if you want to stop by and take her for a stroll that would be very helpful. It is tough for me to take her for a long walk during "store hours." She is very good on the leash.
