Babysitting

What I'm looking for is someone who can come to my house on Thursday nights and babysit. The thing is, the kid will (in all likelihood) be asleep. So what I'm looking for is someone who won't charge me too much, who wants to sit in my apartment for a few hours on the off chance that my kid will wake up, at which point they can provide comfort or food or call me to come home. It should be a cakewalk. I don't want to pay too much for a cakewalk.

Can someone give me an idea what I'm going to have to pay for this?
Does anyone know someone who's interested (perhaps a teen)? It would be a steady Thursday night gig.

Too bad my mother lives in Philly 'cos I bet she'd do it for free.

how old is the kid? normal going rate for a nanny//sitter is $10-12 and hour then usually and extra $2 for siblings or friends, whatever.
