anyone know what's up with beet on 7th ave btwn 9th and 10th? They've been renovating for a couple of months now and the sign just went up within the past week.

Anyone have the inside scoop on what type of place it will be or when it will open?

has anyone been here yet? I have a total beet obsession (I did order a steak and beet salad at tavern on dean once -- that shit is good. and oh, btw, tavern on dean delivers now! yeah) and was wondering if the place is decent. thoughts?

False advertising, I didn't see any beets on the menu.

I love beets. We have plenty of Thai restaurants in Park Slope now -- We need a beet restaurant!

bastards! I guess I'll stick to getting my beet fix at tavern on dean, then.

Went to beet once. Everyone at our table liked what they had. Good service and prices. For those on 5th, you can go to Song for similar menu/prices and quality of food. I have a question though, why does every Thai or Asian Fusion place in the slope have a DJ? Nana, Song, Beet, Long Tan...

I just don't understand their name. it's be like naming my southern chicken fried steak restaurant Jalapeno or something. it's just dumb.

and the DJ thing - don't get me started. it's fricking lame.
