Gorgeous male cat needs home

Meh, people suck sometimes.

So it looks like my coworker might take Chatzee to see how he gets along with her girl cat. Her boy kitty (the girl's brother) passed away on Halloween at 1 1/2 years old, possibly of heart failure. Her girl kitty is understandably upset and very lonely. She's going to give it a trial period, hopefully it'll work out and they'll get along. Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm pretty sure my coworker is going to keep Chatzee. It's not official yet but I have a good feeling!

Wow, did I ever jinx myself. Not happening, coworkers cat started fighting with Chatzee. He's coming back to me Saturday night.

I know that you are way more experienced in this area then I am, but your coworker did give it some time, right? When my second cat found me, kitty #1 attacked her for almost a month before they decided to be buddies...don't worry I watched over them to make sure nothing serious happened.
Knowing your experience, I'm sure you gave this shot everythiing possible. It's just sad when things don't work out.
I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that something else surfaces. It is the holiday season...who knows what could happen...lots and lots of good thoughts coming your way.

well, i was in the hospital for 4 days (cat bite) and just got out today. turns out they haven't been fighting as much so maybe she'll give it another shot. thanks for the good thoughts, fingers crossed!

Ha, Chatzee's such a sweetheart. Coworker's girl kitty isn't spayed yet and apparently Chatzee was trying his "hardest" to help her out! Didn't matter that he's neutered. All I know is that she wasn't fighting with him and liked him for a little while!

I guess we can unsticky this for now even though the coworker's not sure yet. Jeez, I almost want to take him back since she doesn't appreciate how awesome he is. :roll:

Yeah, I need to find a foster home for Chatzee. Coworker really doesn't appreciate him, won't get her girl cat spayed (may help them get along better), and really really wants a kitten. I can't have him and Slick together, they're personalities are way too similar and I'm afraid they may get into it. I just don't get it, Chatzee is an amazing cat. Funny, playful, cuddly, excellent bug killer, and flamboyant. He really deserves a good home with someone who can appreciate how wonderful he is. I feel awful that he will have to adjust to possibly 2 new homes, it's not good for a cat to be moved around like that. Somebody adopt him!
