The block partay is not till July 19th. If ya'll wanna plan something for the Brooklynians that stay in Crown Heights sooner than that go ahead and do it.

Should we get a date down for a BBQ? Saturday or Sunday? I'll throw out a possibility just to get it moving: July 5th. May be a bit much right after the 4th, or the middle of the greatest party weekend ever. Just a suggestion.

I see what you guys mean about 4th of July weekend. I was just hoping I could shamelessly pull everyone in around a schedule that was convenient for myself. That said all those you suggested shake work for me. My personal preference though would be the 26th.

Maybe this bbq thing should be open to all Brooklynians. What do you guys think of just having it in Prospect Park?

We need to start planning , people.

1. BBQ grill - who has one that they are willing to haul down there?

2. Food - Who's bringing what?

3. Spot in the park - Who's gonna get there early to get a good spot.

4. What time does this thing start?

1. I have a Weber grill that I am willing to haul down there.

2.I am a meat eater so I will bring a selection(hotdogs,burgers,etc.)

3.I will probably have to be there to set up.

4.Anytime is good for me but I would say noon?

5.Everyone should just bring what they like to play.

6.I am a grillmaster.I will man my grill and any other that may be there.

Someone should probably bring a grill for the vegetarians. And also a fold-up table would be nice just in case.

Unfortunately the NYC of Park & Recreation doesn't allow you too BBQ in Brower Park. However, there are a few parks that you are allowed to BBQ in. I think PP is the best option, it's closer (for me anyways).
