PedEgg
victoria
So, I passed by this place the other day and bought a PedEgg, a buckwheat bed pillow and those green bags that are supposed to keep your fruits and veggies fresh longer.
Buckwheat pillow is a hit
Trying out those green bags, but too soon to tell.
However, this PedEgg thing works great. I can't believe how much shit it takes off of your feet! Gross, but great. Much better than those credo knives or files

luckymFor those who don't know WTF I am talking about:

whatchuwantGood to know Flexi- I picked one up and stared at it before deciding that $10 was a little steep for something un-proven. What did you pay for it? And what was the name of said "place?" -
seahag21Ooh...I bought one a few weeks ago and I have to agree. Great purchase.
Did you see that they are being sued by the actors in the commercial? -
groth1118I paid $10, but they had a knock-off version for $5.
I never noticed the store before. All I can tell you is that I was walking east on Warren Street in Tribeca. Made a left when I got to Broadway and it was within a block or two on the left. Definitely below Canal St.
I also saw this giant queen sized aerobed (boxspring and mattress...inflates really high) for $60, which is exactly what I paid for it, but I also had to pay about $20 to ship the thing.
Seahag, I didn't know that. why? -
bobsondersOk, I found the receipt.
Place is called (or at least the receipt says...I didn't look at the door) RHX and the address is 261 Broadway. -
seahag21Something about the company lying and telling the actors that their faces wouldn't be shown in the commercials so they can pay them less.
I happened to see it on the news a few weeks ago. Here is some info:

Won't stop me from using it!

I wanted to buy one and use it for parm cheese when we have guests over but my boyfriend said that was far too disgusting. I guess my humor is a bit immature at times 8) -
arletteOh man....I paid $19.99 for my pediegg from Bed Bath and Beyond. Damn damn damn. -

This is just begging to be the center of a Chicklynian contest - she who can gather the most foot parm by the next happy hour drinks for free.

That stinks. You can get 2 for $10 plus shipping thru the tv commercial. Amazon sells them pretty cheaply too.
WhyFi - they have an extra large egg for men (in case you want to enter the competition) -

:help: -

I would so win. Not only do I have manly, crusty feet, but I'd have no shame - I'd get 'contributions' from sandal wearers on the subway if necessary. -
whatchuwantFuck- there goes my breakfast I never got a chance to eat....fuck you all!!!!
-
em26Fuck you too.
I'm grumpy.
You didn't get your breakfast? I didn't finish my sleep!
Fuck it all to hell!!

And you! You don't freakin' cheat. You nasty cheater. What will people think when they see you on the subway begging for foot scabies handouts??

MODLet me bring to your attention Figure 1 in our research into the foot parm being offered on Brooklynian.
Specimen no.1 and 2 were collected from the right and left foot of Whyfi while shaving his toes on the Q-train.
Specimen no.3 was donated by a very nice man in birkenstocks outside of the Co-op. In return I had to walk his shopping cart back.
Specimen no.4 was acquired using the zest option on the pedegg, thanks Flexi!
And the wonderfully chunky no.5 was harvested at a Fish concert last summer and has been aged to intensify it's earthy flavors..
Enjoy! -
micheleisabelDont blame me, blame "google images" when you type in the key words: ped egg cheese
comes in black, too.
-
carmenthis is so disgusting. I can't stop looking. -
em26Mamacita!!! :wtf:
Eww , I bet it smells too!
Wait.....why am I even thinking about that?
Umm....I gotta go. 8-[ -
em26It really does work!
Eww , they even show you the "foot cheese" from that guys crusty ass foot.
-
insideoutI'd rather hace the cheese removed than cheesey feet, no? I love this thing! -
mrslimestoneSo true! I have one too and it works so well! -
carmenomfg i literally gagged when they poured the foot gratings out. grosssssss -
micheleisabelif i ever needed to murk someone, i'd just steal someone's used PedEgg and sprinkle it on the body...parmesan shavings must be loaded with DNA...
the perfect crime...
i can see it on Law & Order now... -
opossumqueenjust got a ped egg at Target for $10. Upstairs near the curtains and coffee makers. Also, they have 3lb bags of gummy bears which I was forced to buy one of.
will try once I find the strength to open the packaging. -
MODYeah, should we all get one and bring our foot-parm to the next ladies happy hour and compare shavings.
NOT!
:puker: -
kikintinaI am definitely getting one now. I figured it was one of those things that kind of works, but not really. I might have to get those gummy bears, too. -
whatchuwantOk-so i just got back from lunch- in the cafeteria at my office, they have a tv so you can watch and eat. Whatever. The commercial comes on and everyone who was watching had to turn their heads and look away!
Fucking gross- but I'm buying one.
***Not for nothing, the website is selling 2 for $10 (one for each foot?!?)AND you get special post-cheese cream.
