spotted a cute sign on franklin, park-ish, for a "tea shop and bakery".

anyone know anything?

I don't know anything about them, but their website makes it sound like they've been running an internet-based bakery for awhile. Fancy!

I called the number on their website and got a call back from Lily, who said they plan to open Sept. 20, 2008, barring any licensing/permit issues. Yay! See y'all there.

nice! i sent an email to the address on their website and never heard back, and was just wondering about this.

Supposed to open today. Has anyone checked it out yet? I'm going to try to stop in today before work if possible.

it was not open. we tried to go around 2pm, thinking that was a safe time since we didn't know what times it would be open....and it wasn't. paper still in the windows, etc. bummer!

Walked by on my way to work today... still paper on the doors. Total bummer. Winter is coming, I must gain extra pounds by eating cupcakes!!

the website has been up for at least 6 months. i emailed them and received nothing back. i wish they would open up... but with this economy, who knows how things are going for them..

I think the chances of this place opening anytime soon are on par with "Da Cake Spott" on Flatbush and Prospect.

heard they finally got their permit and will open soon.... source of the info is reliable, though i'm still not holding my breath....

I have noticed them working on it the past few weekends. Fingers crossed! Such a pretty storefront.

That month or two has been about twleve months long so far.

saw the doors open with tables and chairs set up. i got my hopes up that it was actually open!
