I actually challenge you to a Mexican food Throw down....I can't do it right now because daughter is coming on Friday and staying till the end of August, but the first or second week of September! We do 3 dishes each and see if our food is better than any of the restaurants in the hood. And we'll invite 10 people from the board and see who the winner is!! So are you down??

cause see, here's the deal. if we're doing a mexican throwdown, I have one-two good dishes. I'm going to need some help if we're stepping up to three dishes. both making and then preparing 3 dishes. I'm not a pro (and I'm not bobby flay, and def not a mrs. C) so blah.

Hey Alafarnadia Mid August can work, i have rented a Brownstone in Park Slope for the month of August , they have an amazing Kitchen Back Yard and even a grill, so that might workout. But i have to ask the people i rented it from if its ok. So i will let you know the details. I wanted to do it in September since my daughter is visiting from Europe starting this weekend , so i will be Mr mom for the next 5 weeks, but can go around it for the Throwdown!

okay. I can understand shots of vodka and champagne. I can also understand a cocktail with brandy or cognac and champagne. I'll even go as far as saying that I've had a french 75 and while they are lethal monsters, I'll drink them. however. tequila and champagne sounds like a barf fest to me. where in the world did you do this horrendous thing to yourself?
