I'll bring the veggie dogs if I'm able to make it. I can pretty much trust anyone else to bring meat.

I'll bring a croquet set.

Maybe badminton too if it's not too windy.

Awesome! I haven't played croquet since I was kid. Someone will have to run the rules by me again.

I'll bring the wiffle ball set and a soccerball. I used to have a horseshoe set , I'll see if I can find it.

I'm going to make some flyers and spread them around, it would be great if you guys could spread the word. I think it would be a cool way to meet your neighbors. and besides there will be grilled meat.

I am going to put up some fliers in the neighborhood, I hope to see you guys there.

Hmm. Dog to ecuador???? Ok, I will not ask. Make sure that he/she drinks lots of water and rests for the first couple of days...you too, should you be going with dog. It's a very high altitude.

The dog is staying where it is for now but Alafairnadia is now gone.

I do know what people look like, but I've never been to Saratoga. What's the better deal? ;-)

I got a dinner date so no croquet set (not that there is room for it at the BBQs near the Bandshell), but I'll try and remember to stop by.

I woudl have suggested having this in the Nethermead. Yeah you can't legally BBQ there, but that never stopped anyone.

MeridithB your killing me, half of the people coming were doing so because of the croquet set. You could always have dinner in the park? we will leave you alone, I promise. I hope you do get to stop by and say hello. If not have a great dinner.

Saratoga in August, can't be beat. I'm dying to know what's behind this Ecuador story. My Uncle and his lawyer wife live in Quito.

Nothing too crazy. Her parents live in Ecuador and the dog needed to be moved but is still in the old location (in the US) for now.

I was just at the park looking around for this a couple hours ago with a big white cooler in my arms. After 30-40 minutes of searching for people playing croquet and horseshoe I gave up and went home. I looked at this thread to see if there was something missing that I could've looked for:
