Garden Cafe closed??

I'm really sad about this. Garden Cafe has been the best restaurant in the neighborhood for years. It sucks to see them go.

$2500 a month? That's very, very inexpensive. Shame to see them sell when Vanderbilt is just really becoming a restaurant destination.

$2500 a month plus a $88K fixture fee. Still cheap, but yeah.

Are they actually closed for business yet, or could we fit in a last hurrah?

Yeah, I'd love to go one last time. It's amazing what he turned out of that tiny kitchen.

they were open on Sunday, but we ate at Beast instead.

I hope someone buys the place and keeps it open, although if the original owner/chef is going with it , it may not be the same.

Had a lovely dinner there with the BF last night. Talked to hubby and wife- yes, they're looking for a buyer, but in the meantime, they're still around.....and nice as ever.
