Wow - I just saw Ed on Friday evening at Natural Land. Was going to say hi cause I was at Bread Loaf when he was, 5 years ago, but then decided not to. Then my husband had the same reaction DeeDee did.

I wish I could say I've seen Jennifer Connelly at the gym. Maybe someday. But I HAVE seen this actor; he was getting on the Q/B stop at 7th Ave several months ago -- David Raschke is his name. From that short-lived 80s TV show Sledge Hammer, among other titles.

David lives in our immediate hood with his lovely family. I am happy to report they support local business. :D

I saw Adrien Grenier 6 months or so ago on a Saturday at Tom's on Washington. He was being kinda annoying and trying to get a table without standing in the line. Kudos to Gus for having him wait just like everyone else!

We saw Patrick Stewart - Captain Picard! - at the bar at Franny's, drinking a spritzer and eating a salad and talking with a younger gentleman. This was when he was "Macbeth" on Broadway. He has an enormous bald head.

I have seen John Turturro twice on Flatbush Avenue. Once near Target and the other in front of Crunch.

Yeah, that's bizarre. He lives on President between 8th and PPW. I used to live across the street and would see him at the most strange times. I remember walking up the block through a downpour and looking up to find myself face to face with a drenched Barton Fink. Freaky.

Foxy Brown in Key Food (a friend across the store who was drooling over her had to tell me who she was). She was asking me where she could find an organic store.
Maggie Gyllen...and Peter Sars... occasionally at Lincoln Playground (I know, not PH).

Ha! I don't think I've ever seen any celebs in Brooklyn except for Paul Auster - if he can be called one. Most I've seen have been in Manhattan.

Three years ago I was at a small gathering at a loft with less than 20 people drinking and playing pool. Rosie Perez was there rocking it with a much younger beau. This wasn't in Brooklyn, but I just had to mention it since she was mentioned and I love her!

Oh man I would have attacked maggie gyllenhall and ended up like that guy that was sending Uma Thurman locks of his own hair.

I saw him on the train once and everyone, the whole train, was staring dead at him the entire ride.

He was with a woman, and another couple, and they went on tlaking like nothing was up, but he had to have known the ENTIRE train was looking at him.

    Probably used to it.
