Dog - Midnight Needs Home!!!!!

aweee, my present dog could have a dog of its own.

Thank you Anastasia. I couldn't figure out how to post photos:( She has huge feet, but little legs... Is very funny.

Unfortunately Ella still has not been able to find a home and her current foster mom cannot keep her any longer. I am desperate to find her a place to stay. She is a great dog, comes with free walks and even a personal dog trainer. Please if you know anyone that can help her let me know urgently.

She still doesn't like cats?

She likes chasing things... including kitties. If they don't mind let me know.

You can break her of chasing the cats. We did it with our shepherd. One of the commands we taught her was "leave it." And that goes for whatever it is that she is doing. Like if she makes a move towards food, or telling her to leave a stick or ball, whatever. When she stops the behavior for a moment you praise her and reward her with a treat. We use Bil-Jacs, which are liver treats bought in most pet stores.
To get her attention away from the cat, all you need is a spray bottle full of water that shoots a stream of water, not a wide spray. When she starts after the cats, just give the "leave it" command and a quick shot of water towards her head. It doesn't hurt her at all, but gets her attention. Again, when she responds properly, she gets praise and a treat. Now all we have to do if the dog makes a move is to pick up or shake the bottle and she moans to herself and lays down.
I would never, ever advocate anything that would be cruel or hurt an animal, believe me. And, of course, you get the periodic dog who loves the water and it doesn't work, but it's worth a try.

I think Midnight/Ella has been adopted, a friend who was spreading the word emailed the foster mom (maybe?) and was told she was adopted.
