Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

Suzie---Well, where do I begin? Remember my little daughter Lili? Well, she's 32 and the one in the carrige, Allen? He's 25 then there were 2 little surprises after them, yup, Mike 19 and Sam 17. Then I got divorced and now I'm happy. No grandchildren yet.
I go to bed very early on weeknights so I can store up energy for the weekend. I wake up at 5AM to psyche myself to go to work. The school I work at is in the heart of the projects In Red Hook. It takes me an hour to convince myself to get up and go!
Yea, I am an old fart but only on weekdays! HAhhhaaa. Weekends I am FUN FRAN.
Say "Hi" to Patty for me.

Like you said, "who didn't have a crush on him?" I used to have a crush on Bobby Parisi. The best part of having the 3 georgous brothers is that they used to bring home georgous friends, but I was too young and must have had a label on my head that said "lay off the sister!!" Because none of them ever asked me out! But I am glad your youth stayed with you - you look wonderful!

Did you happen to read my post to Arnonld a little way back? I think your family lived in the home I and my mom grew up in on 21st street (along with my family.) Do you have any recolllection of your family's history of this? Look back on the posts here to arnold, and let me know if any of it rings a bell. My mom loved the LaGreca's, said they were good people, and used to bring her pasta padano when they made it, and always gave her a little extra, she says with a sly smile!

Yes, the connections I am finding is more than amazing, it is, as we say...verrrrry interesting..LOL!
Laura is not ringing a bell for me, but don't hold it against me, I do have some brain skips now and then...tell her Hi for me anyway, LOL!
Mom is living on Staten Island now, off Victory Blvd, and I am living with her. It's nice. I get to see a lot of old friends now which is just awesome for me. Sorry I missed you at the reunion -
