Huge fire in California, and the winds are spreading it fast.

They are afraid that it will go over the mountains to other parts. 5000 people have already been evacuated and they are trying to empty the hospital and grab as many animals that are loose, as they can.

Italy is raining, as I'm sure Jersey is also.

Actually for the First time, I have to work day after thanksgiving, so Maryann is ordering out (Thanksgiving dinner )since only the six of us, doesen't pay for her to cook.

Even though I am a tree person, I think they need to prune all the vegetation and dig trenches around these homes to form up a defense against forest fires with the wind there.

I am going to cook as turkey. All the kids love candied yams. I may make a ham also, my favorite !!

Janet, I would never second quess an ex fireperson, but from what I seen on T/V it's out of control NOW , really BAD.

I make up my stuffing as I go. I add dried fruits, walnuts as I go. It comes out great since I start with my mother's basic pork sausage stuffing.

They told me to try to keep Bashi in all night after his spaying, but he doesn't seem to want to go out anyway. He is just laying down cat napping and gets up to eat, lol. Thank goodness!!

Right Ralph: If I had such an expensive home, I would trim back the trees, trench and install water screens, like a sprinkler system to protect my investment and my property.

Their main problem is high winds that are now 60 mph.
