THE BEST CHRISTMAS DECORATION EVER
"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

Good mornin EVERYONE. What a productive weekend it's been for me. I had a great time with my kids as *we* continue to learn from each other each day. Takin the time to pause long enough to see that as smart as I think I am...I'm never *too* smart to learn some incredible lessons, even from a 7 and 11 year old. They motivate me to be better because I would love for them to be better and to have better. I'm not talkin about better as in not havin to buy them sneakers from the 'sneaker factory'. I believe there was one of those factories around 27th st. and 4th ave somwhere but, I know for sure there was one on Sterling place somewhere between 5th and 7th avenues. C'mon admit it...u know your moms dragged you there too. Anyway...FESTINA ANGELINA...you started a great theme here today. Have a good one.

18 days until Christmas.............................

I can remember goin to get my hair cut and colored. That's right. I admit it. I stopped goin because they seemed to be makin my hair look grayer and thinner so I decided to just cut it all off and save myself from gettin pissed off at the stylist for makin me look older than I really am. Just a thought Deb...I have a buzz cutter and some extra razors and if we stop over for that pumpkin bread...hmmmm

Hello All, Lots of pleasentries on here and that is good. If a certain person (they have had enough publicity so I will leave out their title) does not like it they can always find a moaning and groaning blog somewhere. But there is one serious note that I have to address. Today is December 7. I know most of you were not around in 1941 but I hope as a nation we never forget that date. It changed so many lives. More dead then any war in modern history, complete change in our way of living etc:. On a personal note I remember the Air Raid Drills and a couple of scares that were not drills. We had them at home and in school. Prospect Park was an armed fortress with an Artillery Battery stationed there. The Brooklyn Bridge had signs which read "NO CAMERAS OR PICTURE TAKING ALLOWED FROM THIS BRIDGE" Brooklyn Navy Yard was in sight of the bridge. The Brooklyn Army Base on the water by Bush Terminal was alive with shipments of supplies and troops overseas. There were short takes in the Movie theaters about buying War Bonds and notices which said "Loose lips sink ships". President Roosevelt in his speech to congress said "December 7 1941 is a day which will live in infamy!"
Okay now we can get back to pleasant things. Jim, what do you mean I am regressing?? Just because i put up a baby picture? HO HO HO. :santa:
