Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

I think I am trying to get on the biggest loser next season. I just ate an entire loaf of Italian bread toasted under the broiler with lots of butter with two cups of coffee with lots of sugar....now I feel like I am going to vomit...lol

Hi Terry, it took me 3 days but I finished a whole loaf too, love to dunk in my tea/coffee!!!!!!! BTW, love the photos, very cute.

Suzie, thanks for the b'day wishes for Connor, I had the kids last night, they love their blocks and doodle boards, we also watched a movie!!!

Patsy, how are you and your family, are you taking one day at a time? Hope all is well.

Debbie, my sinuses have been bad since Oct, I had to plug up my chimney, the smoke from the neighbor's was getting into my house, it was making me cough. I also think the dry heat is getting to me, I will start the humidifier today, it will help, I'm sure.

I gotta go and can't list everyone but I'm thinking of all of you!!!! Have a great day, I return to work tomorrow, it was nice being home but all good things must come to an end, what can I say!!!!!!!!!!!!

you certainly have a good memory kings was located on 4th ave between 20th.and 21st,st. it was a favorite place at the time in our neighborhood.
it was funny that all the rcordings were of his son .his name was sonny king,
during the late forties jimmy durante took him under his wing and helped him to
make some inroads in vegas and hollywood he didi some work with sinatra
dean martin over the years and made quite a good living in show business.

I hope you are inside out of the cold. Kenny and I went out to take down
some of the decorations due to the wind. We came in frozen.

This morning we were leaving Church and in the parking lot the wind
was actually pushing my granddaughter that we had to grab her. I was
crazy and she was laughing. She said . Mommy do that again. Kenny
grabbed her to put her in the car. When is the wind going to end.

Donna.....it's so windy that all I hear are my windows rattling!!! My girlfriend wanted to go shopping I told her I wasn't moving from my house today.........lol

My older daughter tells me she's going to her boyfriends dad's house.....she has to take 3 trains to get there. I tried to get her to have him come here but that didn't work. So, of course, I was nervous until she called that she was there.....Then I wonder where my gray hair comes from!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Jonathan was hooking up my wii fit and watching the game told him to get going. If it is snowing here it is worse in poughkeepsie. Now I will wait for his call 2 to 3 hours from now when he gets there. Has to take a winter session class while everyone of his friends are still home.
It never ends. Mia just left with her parents. We just ate all leftovers. I just went and put all my info into the system and I am 25 lbs overweight. geezzzzzzz
It almost called me a fat bastard. lol

Suzie......I wouldn't let her go unless she was getting a ride home. Usually he is at his mom's and she lives a few blocks away. But his dad is very good like that he always takes her home when they are there.

All I've done is eat for days......now all the leftover's are gone I don' feel like cooking dinner tonight.

I think its time to fast for at least 1 night! LOL
