Carol - I hope some of what we talked about helped you with taking care of your mother-in-law...You were a wonderful daughter-in-law.

Again....Very Sorry about your Husband's passing...I did post to you the day it happened....

I was reading your post about Widow's pension...you can't collect on his Social Security until the age of 60, but not the full amount, I believe less 25 percent..and if you work you can't make over l4, 500 or somewhere in that range..if you make over the amount allowed they take a dollar for every two dollars that you make and deduct it...after all the deductions are taken out, they will let you know how many months in the year you are entitled to it...in my case I only recevied a check 9 months out of the year.....the other three months were held back because I made more then they allowed...I now don't recieve any widow's pension, because just this past year I found out that I was entiled to Veterans pension.....something that the veterans just past last year...my husband died of ALS and it seems many veterans were being diagnosed with neurological problems,,so I put it for it and they awared me the pension, so now with that it was too much for the widow's pension, but it turned out better because I am recieving it for all 12 months now....I had to wait 5 years before I was able to collect the widow's pension, it was hard,but I guess we manage somehow...when I look back I don't know how I did it.....
Hopefully things will fall into place for you, it's a lot of paperwork and lots of things to settle,it's overwhelming...just take it one day at a time...that's all you can do.....

Sue thanks for asking......The news is pretty much the same......he did more x-rays and will consult with an orthopedic surgeon also. We go back May 3rd and we'll more than likely schedule her surgery then. I did feel so much better with this doctor.......it does pay to go to the city.

I would lie before I put my real weight on here.......lol We need a plan B

Just passing along something that I had a little experience with..I just thank God that I work in school system and when I retired, or should I say had my midlife crisis, I retired with my medical.........working again in different school system that is funded by the state but privately owned, but still have my medical from the old job....I hope Helen will find out what's best for her.....one thing at a time....it's too much to handle all at once....

Good morning all......

Had a restless night.....poor Samm had a few friends over yesterday and when they were gone so was her phone........

I need some ideas on dinner.....lol....I know most of you haven't even had your coffee yet......

If u ever up by 15th avenue go to the butcher next to Leonis Mozzarella place
He makes a chicken chopmeat. It is really good and healthier. His chicken cutlets are good too. 199 lb flat if u want. U know me I go to my butcher for everything but now those 2 items I buy there and save money and it makes a great chicken meatloaf....U can make chili with it too they wont even notice the difference in the chili..Helen knows exactly where it is and the mozzarella (fresh) are 3 for 12 I think u pay that for one. He sells them to the stores....
Dinner I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM MAKING BUT I HAVE A BIG SALAD EVERY NIGHT.....

WHERE IS SAMS PHONE DID SHE FIND IT DID SOMEONE TAKE IT???? OH NO!!! I HOPE NOT..

WEEK IS MORE THAN I CAN HANDLE RIGHT NOW

THURSDAY AND TAKE CARE OF IT

Terry.....Samm had 2 friends over....they were outside and where using Samm's phone...Samm came in to use the bathroom....when she went out the girls were leaving and she forgot about her phone until a little later. We looked everywhere......nothing. I've also gone to Leoni's for the chicken cutlets but haven't tried the chicken chopped meat yet....but I will.

Going to Nivena again today for St. Antony I always find thing I lose when i pray to him and God. Pray Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony come around Sam's phone is gone and can not be found. It always works for me...Good Luck
