Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

Hi,
Some of you may recall that I wrote a piece where I explained how my life turned around a lot when my first son was born. Well, that "boy" will be 49 tomorrow. Seems impossible as I still remember well when the nurse on the Maternity floor placed him in my arms. Yesterday I got word that my sister was finally cremated. (nothing is rushed in Florida) and tomorrow my youngest will be 49. Holy Bannana peels!!!! :roll:

Feeling a little better, still coughing, but not as much, starting to slow down. This medicine better start working a little faster, I have so much shit to do, that I have been putting off.

Hi Everyone-Congrats on the Holy Communions & birthdays this weekend...Debbie-the house is coming along...R.E.agent was supposed to come today but Justin came over for about 4 hours while Tina & Scott went shopping so that took up most of my day. She'll be here tomorrow at 8 AM....had to rush my dog Cody to the vet today-couldn't walk-had a bad limp-he's on antibiotics now & may need an x-ray on Monday if he doesn't improve. She said it may be his "elbow"-nothing is broken-may be arthritis-he cried when she touched it. Helen-keep up the good work....want to come over here & help me next?
