Hey Janet,
I made my stuffing the same way you did yours--pork sausage, sauteed onions and celery. I used a bag of Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix + butter and chicken broth, salt and pepper. It looks good. Roseann is making the turkey and bringing it to my house. It is the best idea--the turkey takes up so much oven room that if someone else does it, it leaves the oven available for everything else. She wraps it in silver foil, then a comforter or sheet and it's still hot when I serve it. Roseann and her husband and her mother, father, and nephew are coming, as are Bob (Kayak), Arlene, Bobby, Frank's sister, niece, and cousin. My friend Rory will stop by for dessert and I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I have the Thanksgiving spirit. Too bad you and your brood will not be here.

Good Morning Fellow Bloggers. Up for 2 hrs already and just put the bird in the oven. Hated giving it a cold water bath!!! I did make the stuffing last night though. Hopefully we will eat early. Already getting the urge to go shopping tomorrow and get the rest over with, so I can put up the tree. This is the first year that I will have an artificial tree. I usually get a tree with a bulb that I can plant later, but then I have to keep it outside most of the time or it will die. So, I am taking the easy way out from here on in.

Every year, I add something new or different to the stuffing. This year was walnuts and cherry flavored cranberries. Forgot the apple, oh well.
