WE DID NOT GET THAT MUCH SNOW. WWE HAD RAIN YESTERDAY INSTEAD OF SNOW LIKE THE WEATHER PREDICTED. I WAS WAITING FOR A SNOW STORM, AND WOKE UP TO RAIN

RELAX? THAT IS NOT A WORD IN MY VOCABULARY. MY SHOPPING FOR GIFTS AND FOOD IS DONE BUT I HAVE TO WORK XMAS EVE TIL ABOUT 2 0R 3 AND THE DAY AFTER

THE ONE GOOD THING IS THOUGH, MY HUSBAND IS ON VACATION TILL SOMETIME IN JANUARY. HE HELPS AROUND THE HOUSE ALOT. HE CAN DO MY LAUNDRY AND LIGHT CLEANING WHILE I AM AT WORK ) (HE'S A KEEPER)

Well, call in sick the day after, lol. Sick of work that is !! Is your husband off?

I have nothing wrapped for the family here, but will try today. I used to have the kids wrap each others, so I may do that today.

It cost me $160 to mail out all the gifts to NY & Fla,

Guess the boxes were a little heavy but for the first time, I didn't go to UPS and mailed them Priority Mail from the PO. Just lazy since UPS is about 30 miles away, but they are more reliable than the PO.

Hello All. I know it will not make you feel much better but this AM on our early walk (7-7:30am) I wore a GIANT Sweatshirt, GIANT winter jacket with the hood up, GIANT sweatpants and a GIANT hat By our standards it was cold in West Coast Florida. It was in the 40's. I know that does not stack up much with your sub-teens but after a few years down here your blood thins and it feels colder then it really is. (I suppose older age comes into play as well as the Coumadin). Coumadin is a blood thinner for people with heart problems. It helps prevent stroke by HOPEFULLY avoiding clots. After that GIANT game last night I am walking on air and even the colder temperatures could not upset me. One of the best games I have seen in a long time. They said the Meadowlands was windy but not that cold. Game tine 33o and at the end 29o. I did see frozen sweat on some of the players. While we do get some cold weather (by our standards) in the winter we never get snow. I do not miss it a bit! --love to all-Old Goat in warming up Florida :roll: :roll:

You can't get FRESH fish in Godforsaken NC that's for sure. You know, I wish I could get Long Island Bay Scallops. I used to order that in Snookey's on 7th Avenue in Park Slope and it was great. LI Bay Scallops Au Grattan !!!

It says 20 on my thermometer
