Thank you to all who wished me a Happy Birthday. I had a great dinner celebration last night at Canterbury Ales in Oyster Bay. We were there for almost five hours and sat at our favorite table which is very private. I haven't been on the blog or able to do a number of other things lately as I am preparing for a couple of intensive things for my job (one of which is a three week trip to India). Thanks again to everyone !

Suzie.....I saw the Kenny G album you posted. He was sitting in business class seat near me and my colleagues when we were on our way to Shanghai on an earlier trip I took for my job.

Just sticking my 2 cents in here .... in reguards to the next Reunion

It would be nice in an air-conditioned area

with music and a dance floor

with an open buffet --> to keep the price lower

pay by Bank money order ----> make sure you keep your reciepts ...in case it falls through .... you can always send back the money order and they can return it to their bank and say "not used for purpose intended"

NO one drive's home drunk

Prospect Hall can be an option ----if we say we might do this every year there

Anthony Morro is also trying to get a 35th St John's Reunion going ----maybe you can have everyone just go to one .....the more the merrier!

We checked prospect hall it is wedding prices...everywhere else would be a hell of alot more money than 25 dollars but if we have more than 200 it will have to be more money or maybe the other yacht club. September we did not need air conditioning. We have so much time yet. We are booked at the yacht club for I think sept. 26th I cant remember but that is only if it is under 200. We all loved it and as far as music and dancing no one was even eating everyone was just talking and talking and talking. WHAT A BLAST.
YES AND THIS YEAR WE WILL DO MONEY ORDERS OR CASH NO CHECKS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. WHATEVER WORKS......
Twiggy has all the emails and addresses I have some and now there are some new people to add on...SHE IS THE SOUTH AND I AM THE NORTH PLANNERS LOL SHE IS VERY ORGANIZED SO WHEN THE TIME COMES WE WILL TAKE EVERYONE'S IMPUT....

Do u know of any inexpensive halls but nice around here. My son is going to be 21 and I really don't feel like having 90 people in my house again especially that it is not summer and I cant use the yard so everyone will be inside.

I know ..Prospect Hall owes me a favor....I called everytime his alarms were going off ...or I saw smoke ....my kitchen windows used to face the front of Prospect Hall...he probably doesnt even remember me anymore.

I forgot you guys had it in September ....I was just thinking about the heat and the bugs!!!

and then in Brooklyn ....the Greater N.Y. Savings Bank had it every year in the Rex Manor on 65 st and I think 15 ave...cant remember and dont know even if they are there anymore

we had the Baby's Christening right here on Hylan by Staples ....I cant remember that name either .....LOL....its above the mattress store......they have a side room for more people ....they did a nice job twice for us...but no dance floor

You really shouldnt accept personal checks....just because peoples checking accts get all screwed up ....thinking you cashed it and you didnt yet ....then they withdraw it .....those checks bounce all over the USA.

Just my thought and experience from working in a Bank for 16 yrs!

also, a Bank Money Order is easier to trace and put a stop on if in fact ...you would have too! The Pathmark dollar ones (good luck)

You can tell from the pictures ...everyone was having a great time....all smiles....that was beautiful to see .....so you guys did a great job on that one !!!!
