Um... Sorry, but have a bit of consideration for the fact that you're living in an apartment building with other people above/below/either side of you. If you want to live out your home theater dreams go buy a detached house.

Assuming that the downstairs neighbor isn't crazy, I have to agree on this point. To your credit, though, you sound like you want to come to a workable solution.
