A varmit is a slang term used by farmers, mid westerners and Yosemite Sam for ground hogs/gophers and Bugs Bunny respectively.

Okay! I see what you're talking about. "Varmit Cong" was a line Bill Murray babbled when he was making a gopher out of c-4 explosive in Caddyshack. It was made only five years after we pulled out of Vietnam so it was a humorous line for the time.

idlewild (a genius and studly 40 something man, with the ability to use a mac) has already quickly and cleverly provided us with a definition. (how's that idlewild?)
